iTunes has just listed an interview that Andrew Denton had with Chris Isaak. It's listed for $2.99. Worth purchasing if you missed it on ABC tv.

Thanks for this info. That was a really great interview and it's surprising to hear
that interviews are now being sold on ITunes. Marketers are tireless in exploiting.

I wish Chris would record that song he sang at the end. I'm not sure of its name but I call it "You Hurt Me So"

Thank you for that info, Vulpecula. Is that the interview done in 2006 and Chris talks about his brothers and the scene at the restaurant and singing the "dead Mom" songs? If so, that was a very cute and funny one, unfortunately it may have been removed from youtube?

Senayr, I love that song too. The name of it is "It Hurt Me So", and I had to do a little research to find out what song they sang in that interview because Chris sings it as "You" hurt me so (which there's nothing wrong with, and is how JLL sings it). It was performed by Jerry Lee Lewis, but the song was written by Charlie Rich and Bill Justis around 1958.

I was lucky enough to hear part of it at a Wolftrap show in 2007 smile.gif , but I would love to hear it in its entirety some time, and a recording would be great.

Man, I'll say! huh.gif Gawd, they'll be charging us for the air we breathe next. rolleyes.gif Luckily, I got it for nothing (video included) when it originally aired, because I taped it off the TV.... It also used to be on the ABC website - along with all of Denton's other interviews - where it was available for gratis to the techno-savvy. Hmmm...wonder if it's still there?
