How was the concert for the Academy of Sciences fund? Was it a long show or shorter than the tour show and since it was in SF it would be interesting to hear what songs he chose to play and any details of the evenings party would be good as well!

I second the request for reviews from the show. wink.gif

I can only imagine how tired they would have been after their whirlwind tour of Oz, landing back on US soil, and playing that day.

But bet they gave it their all. tongue.gif

They were all exhausted but gave a high energy stellar performance! They performed for 90 minutes or so, I didn't really look at my watch (too busy having fun) so I can't be postive of the length of the set. Security was cool and allowed us to take photos. I got to meet Chris and a few of the guys. All of them said that they had fun in OZ but we're thrilled to be back home.

Silversands:
Congratulations on getting to go to that and sounds like you had a great time. Thanks very much
for the info. When did you get to meet C and the guys? Before or after the show and while they were milling around the place or what? Thanks again.

dmccarthy,

It was a Gala Benefit. http://www.calacademy.org/bigbang/
Definitely not free - There were four ticket options (with various benefits):
$10,000 for a table of ten
$7500 for a table of ten (or $750 for an individual ticket)
$400 for an individual ticket
$125 for an individual ticket

Yikes! Just as well I couldn't have gone anyway. I could maybe afford to buy one of the screws that attaches the table top to the base, but forget about the rest of the table. tongue.gif
