I've been getting so PMs requesting the lyrics to the "Nyquil Blues" by Alvin Crow and the Pleasant Valley Boys. Here they are, by popular demand:

Well, gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Analgesic, decongestant, with an antihistamine

I went to 7-11, the man says "what you need"?
I say "a roll of duct tape and a case of Nyquil please"

Well, gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Analgesic, decongestant, with an antihistamine

Take only as directed, don't exceed the proper dose
Keep out of reach of children, keep the bathroom cabinet closed

Well, gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Analgesic, decongestant, with an anti-histamine

They call me Nyquil junkie, I don't know what they mean
But I just can't be satisfied unless my tongue is green

Well, gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Gimme a bottle of Nyquil, that restful sleep my body needs
Analgesic, decongestant, with an antihistamine

The terrible thing about men who can make you laugh is that in the end, they very rarely leave you
laughing. Sometimes it's best to just move on and find someone who will appreciate
you and treat you with respect.

Hello, Deanna,

YOU GO, GIRL!!

It looks like the meanies are out in full force today. Like I have said many times before, people who make fun of or are nasty to others are usually very unhappy with their own lives. wink.gif

Peace, Love, And Joy,

Carol

That does seem to be oddly true...why do you suppose that is?

Deanna, thank you for clearing up that intensely complex web of verbage. I am very glad you enjoyed learning of a new song from a new band.

Because they tend not to take anything seriously. Especially not the things that are important to you.
They are usually emotionally stunted and unable to deal with anything on a mature level.
And, I think that they are very rarely able to see beyond themselves.

Humor is a coping mechanism for a lot of people. It puts people at

ease. It doesn't mean they're shallow.

In fact, the really funny people, are the most sensitive and thoughtful.

Look at Mark Twain, for instance. Or Robin Williams...he's from San

Fran, too?

I wouldn't say it's the best way to deal with all situations. But, when it

comes to marital troubles...maybe it's the only way to get past

something? Because couples can get rather petty after being together

awhile.

"What is appealing is the idea of attaining the unattainable and learning from it. Once you obtain a fantasy it becomes a reality, and that reality is not as exciting as your fantasy. Through the fantasies you learn to appreciate your own realities." - Ricardo Montalban analyzing the success of Fantasy Island
