Dear Chris,
Your new website is awesome!! I especially love your comments and drawings. You always manage to put a smile on my face.
I want to personally thank you for keeping me entertained with your musical and comedic talents. You have, most certainly, enriched my life and made it that much sweeter.
Sincerely,
Carol
AntiquesForMe Dear Chris,
On the older official board, I have thanked you for entertaining our Military both here in the United States and overseas.
Today I learned about the death of someone I knew since elementary school. Graduating from high school in 1968, many of my friends were unwillingly drafted into the Military upon graduation from high school and sent overseas to fight in the Vietnam War. Most of these boys were only 18 years of age. Some were killed in action, and others returned home with severe physical wounds. Several returned physically in good shape, but they had emotional scars that would last a lifetime. The friend who died recently never completely got over the trauma of fighting in the Vietnam War.
Another friend of mine is a lifer in the Marines who did a tour of duty in Iraq. I told him that you often entertain the troops here and overseas. His face lit up and broke into a smile. He did not see you in Iraq but was fortunate to attend another USO show while over there. His comment to me was "You have NO IDEA how thrilling it is for the soldiers to have celebrities travel so many miles overseas to visit them. It makes their day and brings a little bit of home over, which is a very comforting feeling. They all feel honored that you and others would risk your lives and do this for them!!"
I would like to personally thank you, yet again, for entertaining our Military both here in the United States and overseas. This adoring fan appreciates the fact that you take time out of your life to visit our soldiers!!
Take care, Chris; may God and Guardian Angels watch over you always to keep you safe and sound.
Peace, Love, And Tranquility,
Carol
