*Chris Isaak and Silvertone will be performing at NFL's tailgate party at the Super Bowl in Miami on Sunday, February 4th.*

*Chris Isaak will be Extra TV's special correspondent at the Super Bowl. Look for his special reporting on Extra just prior to and after the Super Bowl. As of now, the shows will air on February 2nd and 5th.*

*Chris will be cohosting Extra on Thursday, February 15th and the weekend edition airing on February 17th & 18th.*

*Look for Chris Isaak appearing on the Tonight Show on Monday, February 12th. He will be taping at the Grammys the night before as The Tonight Show's special correspondent.*

*Stevie Nicks and Chris Isaak will be on tour together this summer. Look for dates to be announced shortly. The tour will start on the west coast in mid-May and will go through the end of June.

Now that James Brown is gone...Chris Isaak is now the hardest working man in show business!! It's all so exciting! Does anyone know what time the tailgate party is on? I never watch the Super Bowl. Maybe just a few of the commercials and the half time show.

HELP! Does anybody know if Extra is on a certain channel? Like NBC, or TBS??? I cannot find it and would really love to see the days Chris is on.


I am guessing that all these tv appearance mean no new album in May?

Extra is on NBC here in New York.

It's on NBC but in Denver it comes on EXTRA LATE, after Leno and Conan - bummer

Just go to TV Guide and put in your zip code. It is on CBS here every day at 4pm and at 1pm on Saturdays.

"EXTRA" airs here where I live from 6:30 pm-7:00 pm on NBC during the week.

About those Grammys....a dear friend of mine is a journalist and will be taking me to a Grammys after-party after the show has finished....I am lobbying hard for the Warner Bros party and hoping he'll go for it....I believe Chris has attended in the past but I didn't see him at the last one I went to.

I just want to gaze at his delicious self from across the room...

Or perhaps bump into him (accidentally of course!) as I am heading for the food and/or bar (a girl gets clumsy around such fabulousness!) Last year I got to chat a bit with Elvis Costello at a Grammys party! (He had unflattering things to say about the Sly And The Family Stone appearance.)

At the very least I guess I can extract some comfort knowing we'll be in the same city even if I don't get to see the man!

Keep your collective fingers crossed for me, maybe I'll have a cool sighting to report (?!)

It says, (and I think it is an NBC cable channel that I do get, but have never watched), that it is on daily at 2:05 AM!!! And Sundays at midnight. Holy cow, no wonder I have never seen it before! Has anyone heard whether this will be televised at all? Is it shown as part of the pre-game stuff?

I've been trying to find that out myself. Does anyone know? How about you football fans out there? Getouttadenver??

I remember liking the tail gate party band last year better than the half time act, but now can't remember who it was. But it WAS televised. Watch for it!

It all started 1 day early!! Chris was just on EXTRA talking to Billy Joel! I did not have the vcr ready!

I watched Chris on "EXTRA" last night. He did a good job at interviewing Billy Joel. From what I heard on there, Billy Joel is going to be the one that is going to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday. I am looking forward to watching the tailgate party on tv on Sunday.

NO!!! I have to tape Extra as I have found out it is on during the middle of the night for me, and it was not posted that CI would be on! His website said the 15th! I will certainly tape it tonight!

I thought it was going to be today the 2nd? That is what the blog said! And all of sudden there he was! I started fumbling around looking for the tape and turning the vcr on! I only saw Chris make a joke about getting Billy mixed up with Prince. I never realized how short Billy Joel was before? Is that the appearance that was supposed to be on today or is there going to be another one? I found out last night that Extra is on at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm here on different channels. Two chances to mess up the recordings!

His website now says he will be doing "special reporting" for Extra Feb 1st, 2nd and 5th as well as the 15th and 17th/18th. I never saw it on there before?

I've only seen the 2nd etc., not the 1st. It must be very new!?

Munchie, I watched last night's show, and Chris was only on for maybe one minute max, so you didn't miss much, and the rest of it is supposed to be on tonight, for the 2nd. Personally, I would just manually tape it because the rest of the show is useless Hollywood gossip stuff. I guess the show on the 5th will be Chris' "roving reporting" he's doing for Extra during the Superbowl events being taped on the 4th. It is rather confusing though

At any rate, my writer friend works for a large NY Newspaper. He hasn't agreed to the Warner Bros. party yet but hasn't disagreed either....depends on which after party he wants to go to. We did go to a Warner Brothers after party a couple of years ago when Green Day were big winners. I remember seeing them at the party, we both thought Billy Joe looked great with the eyeliner and bangs (!) and I saw Mark McGrath there who we both thought was dreamy (you may have guessed, my writer friend is gay.)

I did NOT see Chris that evening. However, years ago I was at some VH1 Awards show event, "Big in 2003" or something like that...and I saw Chris walk through the audience on his way up to the stage to present an award and I remember thinking "THAT is a classically beautiful man...!" I was actually there as a seat-filler! and was hoping to fill any seat next to Jon Bon Jovi -- but no such luck!!!! However, I sat in back of Sting which wasn't too bad.

As to "Ms. L" it is a John Lennon reference, he once wrote a song called "Move Over Ms. L" that I think Keith Moon of the WHO recorded. Since my name begins with L, I took it over as an homage to the brilliant Mr. L.

The weird thing about chatting with Elvis Costello at the Grammys party last year was I had been playing the song "Veronica" from the "Spike" CD all the way downtown to the party...and look what happened? He was there! Since I play Chris Isaak music every day, I hope I can summon the same kind of energy!

Hoping for the best on Feb 11 and my moment in the sun gazing at the ulta-delicious Mr. Isaak, and maybe even a chat with Kenney too(?)

I can't talk to Chris, I get too stupid and turn into Jerry Lewis....("lady.....")
