The sound in the armadillo was brilliant! and chris and the band were beyond my expectations. The crowd were good too, though slower than me to warm up!
They played a great range of songs and i could easily say it was the best i've ever seen and i've seen a few. Mind u as by the time baby done a bad bad thing came on the whole place was rockin.
I was busy shoutin chris i love you (like he could hear me!!) when he came out into the audience to sing. I couldn't believe it! and was tempted to jump over all the guys sittin near me but i don't do things like that in real life!
Chris's banter was really funny, especially as the guy next to me said he'd come without his wife then Chris told a story about blokes leavin their ladies at home to see CI and get upto no good. Guy next to me looked very guilty (or nervous!!)
Rules at glasgow were very strict, no gan up the front, no drinks inside and no pics. Eventually sneeked upto the front tho and got an ace view of the band and chris in his mirror suit.
I was soo excited. The best was yet to come, more classic tunes and chris's voice beltin out as if he was singin to u and u only! They were on top form.
Very strange man dressed as a wrestler came out on stage before the encore to the sound of super magic 2000 which was quite unexpected. At the end Chris said he'd be available for personal pyhisical examinations and signing autographs. We thought he was jokin and nearly went home. Thank God we never!!!
Met Chris and he signed my photo and Tshirt!! As he was signing he said " UR the devil child arn't u?" (how did he know? maybe he says that to all the crazy's!)
he then signed my stuff to the devil child,drew a devil on my t shirt, said ]" I love your scottish accent"[/color] and shook my hand!! 
I met the band and they were sooo nice especially hershell and rowley. They were also sweet enough to sign my pic. unbelievable!! init but it get's better, much better!!!!I stayed on and he let me get my photo took with him. I'll post it when i work out how! He has his arm round my shoulders and mine is squeezing his waist. I'm short but i was the right hight for a wee cuddle!!
If i'd died the next day i'd have died happy!
[attachmentid=263]It was so good as soon as i got home and booked tickets to wolverhampton just days later. I drove down staight after work, a good 3+ hour journey. Concert venue wasn't as nice as Glasgow but the atmosphere and the show was every bit as good and not exactly the same as before. I remember Chris singin a song, I think it was called it won't be the same without you.
not sure if it's one of chris's but i loved it if anyone can help with any info that would be great.I took my mam this time and she is now a convert to CI. V funny story about her later if u've not fallen asleep yet reading this!
Anyway another first class performance and the girls he took up on stage were entertaining and enjoyin themselves ( lots of jealous ladies in the audience includin me)
I held on to meet chris again, calmer this time after realizing what a down to earth fella he was last time. There was no way I was expecting him to remember me and i wasn't gonna embarase my self by remindin him. I asked him if he had any new material coming out and he said "yeah, it's on my kitchen table at home, so if anything happens to me you know where it is!" then he said "I've met you before haven't I" I said yeah in glasgow, he said "yeah I remember I said I loved your accent" and procceded to draw another devil on my shirt!! (I'm not makin this up!!!) Then my mam said I'd drove all the way down form scotland to see him again and Chris then began singin the Proclaimers hit "I would walk 500 miles" Not in my wildest dreams!!!!not all my photos turned out but i bought some of someone who was there and will try post mine and theirs if i can.[attachmentid=262]
It was nearly midnight and i had to drive back home for work the next day. I was wide awake and excited so thought it'd be no problem until I ran into some traffic cones that were strewn all across the road. One of the lights got trapped under the car. I couldn't find the jack but quick thinkin saved the day. I got my mam whose a larger lady to sit on the back of the car, the front tipped up and i was able to free the light. Eventually got home around 4am. Slept in for work and got found out but it was well worth it. Best nights of my life!!!!!
