I wonder how they are doing spending so much time together on the road? I read on an old Jay Leno interview that they dated for a while. Stevie said that they laid on the beach and sang to each other. I don't remember why they broke up. Probably cause neither one wanted to settle down.

I would love to read the article or see the clip of Stevie saying they dated? I have always heard and read that Chris and Stevie are very good friends and share a manager and that is all.

I have been a hard-core Stevie Nicks fan for well over 20 years, and I have never heard anything about the two having a relationship. Like Munchie said, all I've ever known was that they are good friends who share a manager.

But then again: what do I know?

The whole lover vs. friend thing...

it's great that Chris Isaak can have friendly, professional, business relationships with women in his industry. It's obvious he respects women, even if they choose a field like MODELING that pedals their flesh. Everyone has to earn a living somehow right? Isn't he greatful that they are their to promote him and his "style"? They get as much or as little exposure as they want with him! How many women really have that option?

Stephanie and Christopher are a great PROFESSIONAL pairing! That doesn't automatically mean they're a great ROMANTIC pair.
Often times, the two classifications never work out together. Because of the fact that they're in a business where they're competing for attention. That's why the tour has them performing completely seperated. I would imagine if two people were to fall in love "on the road" it would make their working life very difficult because their emotions would get in the way. Romance is all about being ALONE TOGETHER and not sharing yourselves with the rest of the world all the time...which touring demands.

Of course it is possibly to work and "live" with your mate all at the same time...but it doesn't happen overnight. It shouldn't have to be some kind of secret because there's nothing shameful in it if it's carried out decently and by arrangement (Paul and Linda McCartney's WINGS tour, June and Carter Cash...notice they got MARRIED first!). Noone should have to sneak into each others rooms and carry on like they're NOT enamored with each other. That kind of behavior is just not natural and very cruel, if you ask me.

I know a lot of you are thinking our hero will never find that special someone or WANT to find that special someone...but I'm not giving up on him finding her. Even if it's when he's 65, it'll be worth the wait!

Stevie has never mentioned on any interview that her and Chris dated.Although they did spend her birthday together (which was May 26), her and Chris and both of their bands.

I can't find the interview I read anywhere now. I really did read it several years ago when I first discovered Chris Isaak. It was back in 2002 or 2003. It was an old interview with Jay Leno & Stevie Nicks. I'll keep looking for it & if I find it I'll give ya'll the website.
