I found this and thought it was cute:

Why: The roots-music balladeer and erstwhile San Francisco resident flirted with superstardom before settling into a productive music/movies/TV career. With his spangly suits, throwback vocals, good looks and off-kilter sense of humor, Isaak appeals to several key S.F. constituencies and could make for an intriguing celebrity candidate. Imagine the lonesome yodel bouncing off the City Hall dome.

Ditto for my vote...However Galvin Newsom (current mayor) is a cutie but he's no Chris Isaak..Sorry Galvin but Chris gets my vote!
