It's a promo thing that appeared in Melbourne newspapers last week because Bruce is releasing his new album (and, fingers crossed, maybe touring down here) soon.

It will tell you to register a name and email addy to get the download (but I think you should be able to get away with posting bogus info. because I filled in my correct details and it just took me straight to the download page without having to wait for an email.)

As for the song itself, it's pretty good IMHO (been playing it all morning since I d/loaded it myself) but it's nothing like anything he's done before. A tad more commercial...it reminds me a bit of 'Don't Fear the Reaper' by Blue Oyster Cult.

I got it but I think it's over as of yesterday. It's a great song...it grows on me more and more! Springsteen tickets go on sale here next Monday. Being that it's New Jersey and New York City they are nearly impossible tickets to get but I'm trying anyhow. My boss is a big Springsteen fan and a few times he's taken me to see him so here's hoping!!

Tickets for the Paris show in December go on sale tomorrow.. I've already seen the Boss once in concert, he was alone on stage and it was amazing. It's going to be the first time i see the E street Band and I can't wait.. I'm sure the new single live will rock !

Claire and Jovian ~ have a GREAT time seeing Bruce when he hits Europe. I saw him (eeeek!!! This is embarrassing to admit ) about 20 years ago here in Melbourne (Born in the USA tour), and he was SENSATIONAL. It was a big, outdoor stadium crammed to the rafters with thousands, and Bruce was onstage for about 3 hours. Man, did he ROCK (yeah...literally! ) One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Very good single, radio-friendly but powerful

I got tickets (actually my brother did, I couldn't get the page to load to even put in how many tickets I wanted) for Philadelphia shows. I saw him solo a few years ago, but like my brother said, I have to see the E Street Band even if they're in their 50s. Can't wait - it's only 2 weeks away!! Would be awesome to see him in Paris - I saw CI&S in Paris back in 94.

Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band were on the "Today Show" on NBC this morning. They were on there to promote their new upcoming cd "Magic", which hits stores next Tuesday. Bruce & the band performed about 5 or 6 songs. It was great watching it on tv.

They still ROCK and are GREAT. I saw them on Today too! I have a feeling this new CD will be just as good as The Rising.

So happy for Bruce for Grammy honors. The Rising was certainly very powerful and healing for all of us after 9/11. Still listen to it often.

i ordered it from amazon.fr and they shipped it yesterday. I can't wait to finally listen to the new songs
