I just had to share this...

I had my 8 year old son and his two friends in my car. One of the boys tells me he wrote a song and wanted to sing it to me. The name of the song is "Blue Heart" so, of course, I'm thinking Chris Isaak and Blue Hotel. He sang it to me...very cute! All the lyrics were about his heart is lonely and his heart is in pain. Sound like anyone? At 8 years old, he's girl crazy, too! He hit on a girl twice his age when we were pumpkin picking.


I thought you Chris Isaak fans might get a kick out of it!

Wildflower, that is so cute. I bet the song was beautiful, though I'd raise an eyebrow if my 8 yr old was hitting on a 16 yr old girl! He's only 3 now so I guess I have a few years to prepare, eh?
