I came across this little gem tonight. It's a podcast made when Chris and Kenney were down here in June last year to promote their November tour. Look for 'GET THIS Podcast 11: June 8, 2006'. You can play it live, or download. If you click the mouse over the slider on the sliding thingo and drag it up to roughly where the letter 'p' is in 'Download this clip' you can cut out all the guff that goes on beforehand and get straight to Chris. (I hope that made sense... ).

He and Kenney talk about David Lynch, monkeys, and some of Chris's film roles. Chris was in fine form, except either they didn't put the mic close enough to him or he moved about a bit, because sometimes his voice kind of disappears, but if you haven't heard it before (and I hadn't myself) it's still a gem.

(p.s. I heard the man himself on the radio only about an hour ago ~ Wicked Game ~ on (and this is a little embarrassing to admit that I listen to this show!) Mix 101.1's 'Love songs and dedications' here in Melbourne. Oh, how embarrassment!)

OMG - That was one bizarre interview. They both seemed very creative.

Damn girl, you find the coolest stuff. I hadn't come across that one either. It is a little
gem alright. Now .... speaking of interviews, I had one on Tuesday for a job and I
was a little freaked out driving to the meeting when who should come on the radio
and sooth my frazzled nerves.

Yep and normally on our station it's either Wicked Game of BDABBT but
today it was Forever Blue. Not sure if it was a sign (forever blue )
but it made me smile and calmed me down.

Yeah...I know what you mean. I've listened to plenty of Chris's interviews over the years, and there always seems to be a difference between the interviews he gives in the U.S. compared to the ones down here. He always seems more formal over in the U.S. and let's his hair down here more. I think it's because of a cultural difference thingy - everything is more relaxed down here so I think he really enjoys the interview process a whole lot more too. Just my take on it.

So...yeah...I finally listened to it......and it certainly was bizzarre!! LOL! Chris is always such a goofball....but that's what we love about him isn't it? I know I do!

I agree Cheryl. He does seem so much more relaxed down under!
