Good!! I've got over 250 albums, over 100 45's and a turntable thanking the vinyls restoration gods! lol!

Interesting video, Silversands. I remember seeing the B52's new album (Funplex) at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past winter -- vinyl album, CD, and mp3s all in one. Brandi Carlile put out some vinyl in the last couple of years also, as have many other artists.

I picked up a cool find at a garage sale on the weekend -- the original "Alley Cat" by Bent Fabric. What a name. I guess it's Swedish. Edit -- oops, that's Danish.

I also found "Christmas with Perry Como" and another Christmas album by Chet Atkins. There is a vinyl museum in my house. The things I have....I LOVE vinyl. Since my friends have tossed their turntables, I tend to inherit their albums and 45's to add to my collection.

I still have the majority of my albums, though quite a few have been given away to friends in order to "downsize". I'm trying to save money right now, so i've been avoiding the pawn shop down the road....went in there for the first time not that long ago to check out an amp for a friend, and they have crates and crates of vinyl in the back.....sends shivers down my spine.

I still have my old Thorens turntable, and it's amazing.....I was Pink Floyd marathon-ing on the weekend while cleaning, and put The Final Cut on.....fantastic!

The thing that i found with that album (and i'm sure is the case with others) is that I've never really liked one of the tracks on that album, but it starts off side 2 on the record....and is the perfect "new start". On the CD, you lose that.
