I wore my autographed t-shirt to my Pilates class this evening and was mobbed by "Reformer" mates. They were very impressed with the symmetry of the "Heart" that Chris drew freehand on my back; I was wearing the shirt when he signed it - two Tide washes later and the autograph still looks great.

Yeah I thought it was sort of dumb that he could only sign his stuff....but the again if they want people to buy it.

I was happy to just meet him. To have him touch my arm. I really didn't care what he signed. HELL he could have signed nothing and just his hand on my skin would have been enough!

You're right - I had to spend the money twice - but I have heard CI speak his appreication for the cash flow and "helping to pay the bills". It's not World Vision, but if it helps keep those vocal cords vibrating in that alluring falsetto (?) then its a worthy cause....please reassure me....I am really "at sea" now...way out on the ledge.....

Ladies, ladies...( I assume we are mostly women reading this) we are talking about a T-shirt and felt marker here. This is not the Shroud or Turin or the Mary Magdalene's "face of Christ". This is a cotton t-shirt. I had the pleasure of wearing the shirt when he signed it...had a little chat...have photos that he signed, I think I have the requisite memorabilia and I have contributed to the economic wellbeing of the talent. I am not going to create a shrine around my T-shirt. I have a no clutter rule - either it is functional and has utility or its gone. The two autographed photos are more than enough. If I start framing T-shirts, please get me some help. (Not you of course, its okay for you to frame your shirt...but for me, an attachment to a garment would be unhealthy....different psyche and spirit.)

that's cool for you...everyone is different. I don't remember reading that anyone made a "shrine" of many framed t-shirts. I thought I read that 1 t-shirt was the subject of convo...not many.

On another note, I know people can write whatever they want in this forum...I just wish people would be a bit more polite in their opinions.

"Khris" was so funny when he signed it. He seemed really stymied by the spelling of Mhairi, so he added his own little twist.

When I told Kenney how to spell Mhairi he said, "That's wrong, that's just wrong."

I was so happy to get the shirt for you "plummy." It gave me something else to talk to the guys about! fun, fun fun!

And BTW - I wear my signed shirts often. Even after MANY washings the signatures are still there.

Susan, glad to hear someone else wears their shirt - as Kitty remarked, what better way to show your appreciation for those beloved "pipes" and the fact that he is out there making great music available in a concert format ( like no other).

well my deal is this:

I don't have a lot of money. Nobody really does, but I know that....probably, unless a miracle happens, I won't get to see another show either for a while....or ever again depending on my situation.

If I NEVER get to see a show again, I am going to take care of that shirt because of what it is worth to me.

If you want to wear it, go ahead!!! That's fine!!
