TALENT show Australian Idol will feature international music guests performing on Monday nights this year.

The judging panel will have a few surprise guests too.

This Monday evening Gabriella Cilmi will sing; Chris Brown on October 27 and Leona Lewis on November 10.

Special guest judges who will give the Idol hopefuls some music tips include Guy Sebastian and Chris Isaak.

Monday's on Idol are even more unpredictable with a bottom three sing-off right at the beginning of the show before voting lines open up again, giving fans an extra opportunity to save their favourite.

All states are integral to this process with additional on-air and website alerts (www.australianidol.com.au) prompting them when the bottom three are announced in real time. "

The final votes must be cast by 5pm Perth time with the final three contestants announced online at about 4.45pm Perth time.

Hellooo American Idol! I always visioned Chris would do the show in some capacity. I didn't imagine it would be in Australia.
