I think they make him look too MEAN, kinda low down!
Especially the upper left. He isn't mean and nasty like that expression. Who picked all those pictures?
I think someone with better taste should have been put to that task!

I took some pics at one of my many concerts that look(s) VERY similar to that (in fact, I had to look twice to see that it wasn't one of my own...LOL! laugh.gif )

But, in fact, anyone who knows the concerts....it's just a pic of him getting VERY, VERY INTO his performance.........VERY into it!!! He loves what he does!

Hey Cheryl, speaking of pictures...I thought the picture (the one in your Isaak avatar was kinda funny).

It's like the one they sell after all the shows, and if you look real close you can see that all the surfboards in the pictures still have the price tags on them.

Yup...the one in my avatar is a pic that I USED to use last year (the original, before he sold them), and then when he sold them...I bought it and he autographed it and now it's my new avatar (even though it looks like my old 2007 avatar)...ha ha ha ha laugh.gif laugh.gif )

Send all complaints to~
Neal Preston! laugh.gif

"Neal Preston is to rock and roll what Norman Parkinson was to fashion or Richard Avedon to portraits. His photographs define the icons of the rock era. ..."

"Neal Preston, in his career as one of the premier rock & roll photographers working today, has taken many of the pictures, both live and in photo sessions, that have contributed to the iconography of rock music."

I don't really like the cover....looks kind of amateurish or something. It's ok, just think it could have been better. And too many pics are the same - what about all the other suits!

It's very ordinary compared to the photography on all the other albums.
It reminds me of a K-Tel cd.
stuff & nonsense

So ... is the CD worth buying? Was it all recorded at the one show? Why has it taken two years? Will I play it more than once (alright, twice, because I got through Always Got Tonight twice, after all!) So many questions. The biggest one is when will there be a completely new CD with some great new songs that take a long time to grow on you. Songs that make you think and want to listen again and again ... yeah, wouldn't that be fantastic?! smile.gif

Just quickly, imho, in answer to your questions ...

Yes, but only to complete your collection.
Don't know, can't be sure. NO details/dates whatsoever.
Who knows?
Maybe twice.
Yes, that would be fantastic, and we can only hope. laugh.gif

Hey stuff and nonsense I'm right there with you. Thats the kind of stuff I want to hear again. A couple of the new songs are headed that way upbeat and loving, Take My Heart, Mr. Lonely Man, Best I Ever Had, even the new covers All The Way, Love Me Tender, talkin bout real passion again. Isaak can deliver the best of love songs with muse in heart. Go baby Go!

Thanks for that, it's about what I thought! I haven't bought it yet and my collection is far from complete!

To quote Crash Davis (Bull Durham) "I'm too old for this shit". And you know that's the truth lol!

the cover reminds me of the writing on the 68 comeback special cover from Elvis, even the layout of the pics.

I just received my import and I was going to write exactly what you wrote. The cd is definitely modeled after the KING.
