I just posted this elsewhere, so thought I may as well share here, too....

(I wasn't the one who found the original link though...all credit to you oh secret one, whoever you are. tongue.gif )

I LOVE that soundtrack!! It'd be worth seeing for the music alone, I reckon....

Thanks Cheryl. That shot will get me to the theater to watch the movie! laugh.gif

I watched the trailer the other day. Looks pretty good, but I was really disappointed that there was only that one lightening-fast shot of Chris in the whole thing! I hope his part isn't that small.

I'll go see it anyway, hope it comes out some day. I read it still needs to be bought by a studio?? Could be a while...

That is a cool picture of Chris from his new upcoming movie "Informers". Hopefully a studio will pick it up soon, so that there will be a release date announced.

The movie looks disturbing.......however, the screen capture is captivating. laugh.gif

Did anyone recognize the opening song in the trailer? 'New Gold Dream' by Simple Minds. All the way from Glasgow, Plummy!

Yeah -- Simple Minds -- I saw them 3x back in the '80s.

You still haven't said what is wrong with Lulu. I mean, "To Sir With Love" -- how can you not like that?

I want to know what the deal about Lulu is too. And Fifi, you're right, what's not to like about "To Sir, With Love"? blink.gif It's one of my favorite films of all time, and I've always liked the themesong. The movie still brings tears to my eyes when I see it. And weren't The Mindbenders the band in the party scene? I need to watch that one again, can't see it too many times.

Edit:

Yep, it was The Mindbenders (without Wayne):

Looks like (as Chris said once), "the pathetic kind of dancing that I do". tongue.gif A good dancer, I'm not!
FifiKitty
Great clip, Silversands. Sidney Poitier's dancing is unique to say the least. laugh.gif I don't think I realized the Mindbenders were the band in the party scene. Now I know. We're just waiting to find out from Plummy what Lulu did to make the Scottish dislike her.

OK, back to "The Informers" now....sorry for the diversion.

First of all, you're all welcome for the picture girls. It took me all of about 2.4 minutes to do that, so no real trouble on my part. biggrin.gif

Simple Minds are always good value. I've got New Gold Dream and Street Fighting Years - top albums, both. Glittering Prize, Someone Somewhere in Summertime, Promised you a Miracle all bring back great memories of a certain time in my life. Och ai Jim Kerr! (Apologies to Plummy for atrocious use of Scottish vernacular. laugh.gif )

As for Lulu, maybe it's just one of those things where a celeb, while being popular in other parts of the world isn't as popular in their homeland?? In Australia we call that the 'tall poppy syndrome'. There's a lot of Aussie celebs who are not that popular down here, let me tell you. Nicole Kidman for instance. Nine out of ten people think she's a waste of space (and I'd be No. 4 on the list.. tongue.gif ). Steve Irwin wasn't really appreciated while he was still alive....he's universally loved now of course. Death is a great popularity booster. rolleyes.gif It's just human nature, I guess....*shrug*
