Thank you for finding that, SapphireGirl. What a nice photo. That looks to be my favorite guitar of Chris', the teal one, but it is a little hard to tell and be sure. Love the casual look with the jeans and the plaid shirt, and the serious or contemplative musical pose is lovely.

Beautiful picture!! Can not wait to hear the first song. I emailed my favorite radio station to let them know about...just in case they didn't. Asked them to play it as soon as humanly possible!

Wow. What an awesome photo! He was wearing that shirt when we ran into him in Westhampton last August before the concert. He was walking around town wearing that shirt, faded jeans, and Keds with Sheryl, Kenney & Rodney.

Smack me in the head! I forgot to mention that if you go to Amazon.com and look up "We Let Her Down" in the MP3 Downloads category, you can hear a 30 second clip. It's fantastic - and it's the part of the song where Chris really let it rip in concert in this past summer.

But the beautiful guitar as the clip fades out is just WOW! (in my humble opinion....)

Good point, Munchie--maybe B will be "Mr. Lucky" What's the little part Chris added, changing the words slightly than the way he first sang them last summer?

I hadn't noticed that Silversands. I was talking about that different note. He didn't sing it that way at the concerts. It sounded really good!

Which note Munchie? I reviewed my videos from last summer....he hit the same notes at the concert I was at. Just curious.

At the very end of the Amazon snippet Chris hits a falsetto note (I think that's what it's called?) that he did not use in any of the concerts I went to. I listened to the utubes of the song and what I have and he didn't do it. I thought it was a great addition. Are you sure he did it at your concert? Or am I hearing things?

I don't think you are hearing things Munchie. I was surprised when I listened to the clip as well. My co-worker laughed at me because I kept replaying it after saying, "Huh?" Not that I don't like it - it was just different...

Thanks for that confirmation jfrogirl. Yes, it was different after hearing it done another way so many times. Chris seemed to change the words to a few of the new songs in concert also. Silversands, you noticed one example. So.... even though we might have heard him perform some of the new songs, I think the CD is going to be a total surprise!

I'm with you, Kathy. Chris' hitting that higher note at the end struck me right away as different from the concert version. Sounds fabulous. And you're right: there may be other surprises to be had from the "old" new songs that we got to hear last summer.

I heard "We Let Her Down" on the radio today, on The Peak 107.1. Loved it!!! It was "New Releases Wednesday" and I was hoping they'd play it. I was so excited when they announced that it was coming up...and then the school nurse called that my daughter, Olivia got hurt in gym class and I had to come pick her up...I was so worried that I missed it but I had a half hour ride to the school from work so I was praying I wouldn't miss it...I got about 5 minutes from the school and they played it. The deejay said "Mr. Lucky...well when ya look like that, I guess so". hee! It really made my day, even if I had to spend two hours in the ER. Oh...and I think the "her" in the song kills herself...did anyone else get that??

I'm really loving "We Let Her Down." It's such a great song, may be worth that 7 year wait for a new CD. I'm really happy it's getting some radio air play. I'm glued to my radio!!
