The other day I was listening to the radio and "We Let Her Down" came on. After the song the deejay, Caroline Corley, came on and said "I don't wanna sound like I hang out with losers but Chris Isaak once asked out one of my girlfriends and she turned him down. It wasn't marriage, just coffee but still...".

Jeez...I don't know how anyone could turn him down.

OK...just had another "Just had to share". They just played "We Let Her Down" on the radio (The Peak) and the deejay, Rob Arrow, said when Chris was there a few years ago he did drawings for them and they are identical to the cover of Mr. Lucky. I'm gonna email and ask them if they could put them up on there web site. I'll let you know if they do.

Wildflower, that was another interesting tidbit that you shared with us. Hope the radio station is able to put up the drawings that Chris did for them.

I don't know too how this girl could turn him down. But, ladies, I think Chris is still SINGLE (as he always let us know) just because he wants to date girls who doesn't want to.

I think I remember reading somewhere before that he avoids caffeine. (I could be wrong). But if so, there's always decaf coffee or tea. I'd go with him in a heartbeat, and my husband wouldn't mind, either.

Just got another one of those "just had to share this..." moments. I was just checking out The Peaks web site, trying to win Springsteen tickets. They have a new feature of the top songs (i think 25) and "We Let Her Down" was #6. I'm just so proud and a bit surprised! He's right up there with U2 and Kings of Leon. I'd link it but I'm at work and very limited to what I can do.

He's moved up to #5!! It's Dave Matthews Band, U2, Coldplay, Kings of Leon and CHRIS ISAAK!!!! I'm shocked to see how well the song is doing. He's up there with some very good (BIG) company.
