Happy me, I just found a short summup of an article which will be released in the german "GALA" tomorrow, I can't wait to get it, so here is the short summup, in german and my translation for your in english (don't mind mistakes):

Hamburg: With rocky love songs like "Blue Hotel" he melted many hearts in the 90ies, but Chris Isaak, 52, hasn't let a woman in his private life for a long time relationship. "Many think: He is wearing sparkling suits and collecting french lamps, he must be gay", says Chris in an Interview with GALA (Release on 26. June). "This assumption is wrong. But I'm not home for the most of the time, so a relationship cannot work." But it seems that the lonely wolf has not given up the hope to find love. Isaak: "I only clean up my house, because I imagine, that someday a woman may like it there."

So I am going to get the journal tomorrow, so I keep you informed.

Greetings from Austria

Thank you Austrian friend. You are doing a great job of translating! I often wish I knew someone who could translate German/English for me. Your talents, correspondence and reports from afar are appreciated!

P.S. Can you explain, what does Claudinchen stand for? Is Chen your last name?

Hello junebug,
At first thank you for the compliments. I am doing my best, I have learned English in school and then I had to translate a lot in my job. So I stayed in touch with that language. If you need some help in translating, maybe I can help you?

P.S. Claudinchen is the "lovely" form of Claudia in German, similar: Julia/Julchen, Maria/Marichen, Karl/Karlchen etc. (esp. used for kids as nicknames)
