Yes, I even own "A Dirty Shame" - any movie with him in it is instantly bought...case in point, a new one called "The Informers". Haven't actually watched it yet, but I did skip ahead to see where he's first in it (about 27 minutes into the, ahem, racy film). Has any one else out there bought it and/or seen it?

The only clip I've seen is that one that was posted on the board earlier this year (I think it was from the official website of the movie??) of him at the bar with his son...and he was hitting on those two girls and you could tell he was buzzed.

I wouldn't mind seeing the clip of him on the beach ....I saw a picture on the informers website that showed him on the beach sitting next to his son.

Why dont' you watch it? Then you may not have to ask others if they have seen it (maybe "tested" it for you before you watch it)??

I'm a stay at home mom so I don't have a lot of time to myself - I just finally got the time alone to watch it (certainly not a film to have on with kids in the room). It wasn't that great, but it was good to see Chris in a movie again. Let me off the hook, okay?!

I don't see a problem with just wanting to view the Chris bits in anything he's in....I think most of us can admit to fast-forwarding through many talk shows etc. just to see the part he's featured in. Unless you're really interested in watching the rest of a show, I wouldn't bother either. I've watched many of his movies all the way through, but a 'Dirty Shame' wouldn't be on my list of 'mustsee' movies either. I don't think I'd bother sitting through it again, even though Chris's performance in it was one of his better ones, for sure. Not a bad concept (making fun of sex) but IMHO it was a one-joke film that went on for waaaaay too long. There really wasn't a movie-length story in there....it would have been more suited to a brief comedy sketch in a show like 'Saturday Night Live' etc. Again, just my opinion.....

Oh, Cheryl, you hit the nail on the head. DS is not a movie I would ever bother to even fast forward through just to see Chris. Yes, it was one of his better acting performances, but seriously, the joke was over about 4 minutes in....And I sat, and sat, and sat, and sat until the credits finally meant THE END. I have never walked out on a movie. Maybe, this should have been the first one since I saw it at the Nova in Carlton, and great cafes and shops were awaiting.

Yep, it would have been perfect as a brief comedy sketch on some show on the small screen.

I rented and watched it last night.....watching & thinking, will it never end??????? Dreadful.

I just finished watching it. I am now both tired and depressed. Chris was good in it and I felt a little sorry for him (his character), but the movie just was long and draining.

I bought A Dirty Shame and it really is funny--but long, as already mentioned. I don't know that I would even want to own The Informers. I certainly wouldn't want to watch the whole thing again--ever!

I know that a while back a few select people weren't thrilled with my screen capping.

But I don't give a f*&k.

Okay I watched The Informers last night and it was not good they butchered the book I liked the book better. Now don't get me wrong it was worth sitting through to see Chris he played a drunk quite well but I would recommend renting it C&K"sgirl~Kerri
