I'd have to say that San Francisco Days is my all time
favourite, followed closely by Blue Spanish Sky.

Blue Spanish Sky is my favorite, but Think of Tomorrow runs a really close second.

Yes - Blue Spanish Sky was my fav (you really get a good look at that handsome devil)......UNTIL I saw Solitary Man! YIKES! I had to take a cold shower!

If I had to choose a clip as my favourite,I couldn't.
Every single one I have seen is,how shall I say,most "satisfying".LOL.

OH DEAR!!! Depends on my mood! "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing" is good for one mood and "You Can't Do a Thing" is good for another mood and... well you get the picture! Although, seeing the full "Solitary Man" for the first time the other day, that one fits all moods!!!

It's true that it depends on the mood you're in (and the mood you WANT to be in...). "San Francisco Days" makes me feel happy, Chris smiles a lot in that video.

I think "You owe me some kind of love" is very well directed. Chris mentions in his comments to that video that much of it was done in one shot. The camera moves with Chris and the band in a way that appeals to me.

I saw Solitary Man in the credits after all the videos played on my DVD, and I was thinking, "There is no Solitary Man, why are there credits for it??"

My favourite Chris video (apart from the obligatory lust-worthiness of the opening minute of 'Solitary Man' a'ccourse!) is the opening few secs. of the 'Dancin' video. I just love that stunned mullet expression on Chris's face when he turns around and faces the camera (you know - the one where he's standing on the beach throwing rocks into the sea, or whatever he's doing...). He kind of jumps around in fright, and has a "Huh?! What the hell?!" look on his face. It's a classic.

I'm with you on those white sheets - oh my goodness I must go and get me some.. white sheets that is!!

I think WICKED GAME, while overexposed compared to the rest, still best sums up his "doomed romantic" vibe best...I've always liked the "Somebody's Crying" video a lot, too...and have a nostalgic place in my heart for the "Gone Ridin'" video, which is where i first was exposed to him in 1985 and it immediately made an impression....

Solitary Man is in the commentary part of the video, it's like a bonus video so doesn't play if you select play all. You have go to the menu to select it. I had my DVD for a week before I figured that out

My favorite video clip of Chris's is "Gone Ridin'". Of course all of Chris's videos are great. It's hard to have a favorite video clip of his.

I had to stop eventually - didn't want the mouse to go blind! Which part did I replay? Oh, why the part where he's playing his guitar, naturally!! Ok, my quick imput on the Solitary Man video... I saw it a few days ago and I was pretty shocked at my first viewing of it...you know the...ahem...white sheets scene. And you know I had to play it a few more times just to make sure, hehe.

Anyway. My all time fav. video is Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing. First reason is that he looks so good in purple and it really brings out his gorgious eyes...And the other reason is that I just love that song! Not to mention it is my ringtone on my phone, but it just puts me in a good mood everytime I hear it.

I think we all did the same thing Miss Buecha. *giggle*

Question: Did the video for "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing" have an uncut racier version that wasn't on Best of videos? Someone asked on the other board and I keep going back to see if someone answers, but they haven't.

I can help with this one. Yes, there is a so-called "uncut, racier version" of the "BDABBT" video. It is on a CD (enhanced CD), which contains the original version of the song, and two other versions, which are quite cool - one is acoustic. There is also the uncut version of the video on the CD. I have the CD. Yup -- bought it -- no downloading or anything nefarious. I believe the CD was produced in France but I'm not at home right now so I'd have to check it.

I have the version of that cd without the video. You are right, the other mixes of "BDABBT" are very cool. I think I just bought the one you are talking about (haven't received it yet). I hope it is a different version of the video than the one I have? It just says on the cover "enhanced cd including the video to "BDABBT"? Nothing about it being "uncut".... Is that what yours says? Thanks for the wecome back. The video I have on the enhanced CD is different from the one on the "Best of" DVD. Yes, my CD says 'Enhanced CD including the video to "Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing"'. It also says "As featured in the Stanley Kubrick film , Music from the Motion Picture, Eyes Wide Shut". Doesn't say anything about the video being uncut, but it is.

Good. Just a bit of a caveat on the "BDABBT" uncut version. It's not that much different and the uncut bits are mostly of her, not Chris.

Darn! I thought that might be the case! I think that the uncut version might be on youtube? I watched one on there that seemed to have a couple shots of her that didn't look the same as Best of? Oh well! One more thing to add to the Chris collection!

I haven't seen the uncut version on YouTube. It's probably censored now anyway, since Google bought YouTube. I also expect to see ads preceding every video....not a happy thought. I hope I'm wrong. Enjoy your CD.
