Isn't it funny how that happens. Other music can be playing in the car
on the way home and I don't really pay attention if I've had a crap
day. I just want to get home but if Isaak comes on the radio - the
volume goes up, a smile appears on my face and the bad day just
melts away!

I went into one of the dining halls yesterday for lunch. I was eating my sandwich when all of a sudden I heard "Only the Lonely." I was squealing to myself. I never expecting to hear him there, especially with all the music that usually plays.

Mmmm, I love KPIG. Today they played BDABBT and a couple weeks or so ago they played the original Silvertone (not BS) version of Dancin'. I kicked myself yesterday thoiugh cause I got in my car and was listening to a tape that was in, wondering if I should switch to the radio to make sure I wasn't missing Chris and thought, nah, fat chance. And as soon as the song on the tape was over, switched to radio (KFOG), in the middle of SFD. So if I'd listened to my own advice, I'd have heard the whole song. Ah, well!

'KPIG'?? Interesting name for a radio station.

I remember when I was in Budapest several years ago there were posters up everywhere for a radio station called KISS FM.

Yeah, Cheryl, it cracks me up and they play it up too. They have the "swine line" where people can call in announcements, and they are located at "94 oink 9 FM".
And last Saturday they played Round And Round (long time since I heard that one!) and today I caught the last little bit of Wrong To Love You. They play Chris more than KFOG does.

Yeah, I heard him at Marshall's twice this last week! First heard Always Gone (?) not even sure that's the name of it, I had forgotten about that song but I liked it, and then Cool Love which IMO is about like the rest of AGT. I had heard the last few bars of that once at Home Depot and didn't even realize they'd been playing Isaak till then and couldn't even place what song it was by the lyrics. Shows how much of an impression THAT one left on me!
And dmcccarthy yes, KFOG and KPIG play him quite a bit.

Had the radio on today at work when clearing up and "Wicked Game" came on and was so pleased that I phoned the Station and told them that they had made my day (luckily I know the DJ and he knows all about my CI obsession!!).

Wicked Game on my fave 96fm station.

Church at Freo Oval on Dec 22nd.Then after a few requests,
and after I had cleaned a three by three,I got in the Triton,
cranked the aircon and the tunes only to hear the DJ I had
spoken to earlier about the concert, play Somebody's Crying
just for lil ole me.I was so chuffed!!

Most of the songs I hear are butchered remakes but there are a few classics like those by Elvis, etc.

You probably had to be there! Yeah..."Hometown" plays alot of the same songs that my store does and I hear that one at my store all the time. It's some kind of sattelite radio that alot of places have. Like I go next door to Carl's Jr. to grab lunch and hear the same song playing as when I left my store to go over there. I've yet to catch "I'm Not Waiting" while at "Hometown" but it doesn't suprise me.
However, my store decides to play Christmas music now, so I haven't heard Chris since day after Thanksgiving...I'm sad
That's cool you wore your Chris T-shirt.....so the couple was familiar with Chris too? Cool!
