Gee the last time I heard Chris was on my car radio on the way to work. It made the commute more tolerable.......and more distracting...lol

Maybe one of these days it will happen. I keep hoping. At the moment, I have to satisfy myself with listening to "Christmas with Chet Atkins" (in LIVING STEREO no less), a garage sale find from the summer.

I just got back from Christmas shopping and the first song I heard was "Hey Santa" as I was shopping in Nordstroms. Love that store!! Chris inspired me to do really well with my Christmas shopping. I did amazingly well and even picked up a couple things for me. Thanks Chris for your wonderful inspiring Christmas music!!

Yesterday, Andy & I went on the hunt for a Christmas tree for the waiting room at the surgery.............he has crap choice in music so i took my CI Christmas CD with us and made him listen to it all the way for our tree, we ended up having to go about 30 miles there and back for a good one so all was good........

Ha ha ha - so was Andy a convert after listening to the Christmas cd Miss Plummy?

If you're in the Times Square area of NYC check out the large McDonald's on 42nd street. This is a large McD that used to be a theater. They left the marquee up and inside is renovated to look like the backstage area of a theater. Up front by the order counter there are 6 large screens & through out the 3 levels there are smaller monitors all over. They show all sorts of music, plays & other videos. As I was walking by the place I heard ‘Hey Santa” by CI&S playing on the outside speakers. LOL! I glanced inside and there on all 6 screens is a BIG close up of Chris & Hershel! I decided to stop inside & get a large coffee (I try to avoid fast food). I sat down at a table near a monitor and watched the Chris Isaak Christmas Special for 40 minutes while drinking my coffee real slow.

Welcome back firefly!! I hate Time Square at Christmas time and McDonalds (all the time) but I may have to go check that out!

Thanks for the welcome back! I can only post from work. It's weird. I Emailed the moderator and admin throughout the summer about the error messages I keep on getting with my home computer. None of them responded-obviously they don't care. LOL!

Oh yeah, Times Square is insane all the time but especially during the holidays & on Wed. when all the plays have performances in the afternoon. I work on 42nd between 5th & 6th Ave now (right across the street from Bryant Park). I get off the train at the station right next to McD's. Last night on my way home I heard "Washington Square" playing on the outside speakers. Same thing this morning when I walked by. I peeped in & the Xmas special was playing on all the screens & monitors. I think they're playing the DVD 24/7. LOL! Wonder how the band will feel about headlining at McD's Maybe I'll run into you there!

That's it. I'm moving. There's definitely no Chris Isaak DVD playing in the McDonalds around here.

This McD is kind of unusual because it's in the theater district. Previously they had an Elton John concert playing & lots of Miley. It was very odd to walk into the place and see Chris & Hershel up on 6 large screens above the counter. LOL!

today while doing some last minute shopping at Target, Hey Santa came on. It was interesting listening to other shoppings saying what a great up beat song.

I heard CI this morning on Radio Margaritaville singing Let It Snow it made my day I have been hearing him alot on Sirius

I heard him at work today. It was the song Hey Santa. One of my favorite Christmas songs sung by him.

I stopped by the Times Square McD's this morning to get some coffee & watch the Christmas Special for a while before work. LOL! There was an older gentleman sitting at the next table. He was watching the DVD too & commented that Chris looks like a younger, more handsome Elvis who has his head on straight. Then he said that he's going to check Amazon and purchase the DVD since he's really enjoying Isaak & the band.

I heard Chris's song 'Wicked Game" on SIRIUS satellite this afternoon. It was on the '90s on 9' channel.

I just got home from Raley's Grocery Store and heard "We Let Her Down". What a shock!!

I just got back from a new shopping area that has music playing outside. I heard 'We Let Her Down'. What a nice surprise to hear Chris. Always puts a smile on my face.

The dickhead in question lives in my neighbourhood apparently (the idiot trainsurfer). To add insult to injury, why did he have to be wearing a HAWTHORN jumper at the time, of all things?! (We're a hawk household here!) He's not fit to wear the brown and gold!

I heard a funny commercial, I guess you could call it, from Chris this morning on The Spectrum at Sirius Radio. I can't recall all of it but he was asking people to go to Sirius.com and request the songs from his new album, Mr. Lucky...."not just one, all of them because I have several kids to feed.....not mine....." LOL.
