Thanks for finding and posting the Leno bit. Chris and Kenney are so funny together! I was laughing out loud. What would us Chris addicts do without our daily fix of Chris

Thanks for posting that video. Chris's voice sounds absolutely awful! He sounds like his own impersonation of Bill Clinton (you know, where he says "I didn't inhale" or something like that). Really funny clip with Kenney.

Oh Bugger! youtube is down at the moment.
Note to self - must remember to check link later on today!
Now Miss Kathy, post away I say. We can never have too
much video links to all things Isaak. Especially us Aussie's
sweetie. A lot of us have never seen this footage before!

Yeah Baby!
Got to love the Californian custom of New Years Hugs
especially when they come from Chris Isaak and it's
good to know which half of him is Italian too.
Bwaa ha ha ha ha!
Love it

Miss Sugar xx Hmmm...since we're talking Italian here, why does the word 'salami' suddenly spring to mind?!

Munchie17, thanks for posting the YouTube link for "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" when Chris & Kenney were on there for New Year's back in 2002. I saved the clip to 'My Favorites'. I haven't yet watched it, but I will.

Thanks for posting that. So funny.
The only time I've seen Chris on the Tonight Show was when they sent him to do the Red Carpet at the Grammys. That guy Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 was so rude because he didn't know who Chris was! I hope he does more stuff for them.

I missed seeing Chris on the "Tonight Show" when they had him do the Red Carpet at the Grammys. What year was that?

Well...the killjoys at NBC had YouTube.com pull the plug on this video clip and one other Tonight Show clip I uploaded. NBC owns the copyright and, I guess, don't want fans watching low-resultion video clips of their shows for free on the Internet.
That means, unfortunately, that I won't upload the other Tonight Show clips (such as the one from 1991 with Isaak being interviewed by Johnny Carson, or the other half dozen Isaak/Tonight Show clips I have).
Like the thousands and thousands of other YouTube members who've uploaded NBC-owned clips without written permission, I personally don't see the harm in offering an entertaining, three-minute interview clip that's several years old. But I suppose NBC has its reasons. (I wonder if NBC pays YouTube.com advertising fess for the 40+ clips that it has unloaded to promote its upcoming season. I sure hope so.)
By the way, if you have any rare or otherwise entertaining videos of Chris Isaak and Silvertone, I'd like to include them in the Chris Isaak Vault (unless, of course, they are from an NBC program).
Cheers!

That is such a bummer... I was afraid it would happen. I noticed that the appearance on Ellen got axed too. Those two on Leno were so funny!! I wish there was a way to save them to the hard drive before this happens to more...... I don't see the harm in having those videos on youtube at all. It isn't for profit or anything like that. I don't get it! I will miss watching those two, especially Happy New Year! That made me laugh like crazy

That is indeed a bummer that the "Happy New Year" Jay Leno video clip on YouTube got pulled the plug by NBC as well as that other one of Jay Leno video clip. I didn't have time to see either one. Oh well. At least there are other kinds of CI&S video clips on YouTube to watch.

see a lot of the clips before they were
pulled so thanks CIV - you rock!

To ChrisIsaakVault --
Thanks very much for posting all the videos you have. It's a major BUMMER (and I'm saying "bugger" to myself too), that the NBC clips have been pulled. I'd love to see the 1991 Carson clip. I guess we'll have to go to the Smithsonian or somewhere to see that one (that is, if NBC lets the Smithsonian air it)...why doesn't NBC post it on their own site?

I think this was personal. If you type in Jay Leno in the search you get several pages of his show. I say screw them! Put whatever you want on there. Who ever is picking on chrisisaakvault is going to have to go threw me
