Because they tend not to take anything seriously. Especially not the things that are important to you.
They are usually emotionally stunted and unable to deal with anything on a mature level.
And, I think that they are very rarely able to see beyond themselves.

Humor is a coping mechanism for a lot of people. It puts people at

I wouldn't say it's the best way to deal with all situations. But, when it

comes to marital troubles...maybe it's the only way to get past

something? Because couples can get rather petty after being together

awhile.
