I attended the Manuel fashion show Sunday here in Nashville and am inspired to start this topic.
Manuel, in case you aren't familiar, is our country celebrity fashion designer / tailor. Stage wear, rhinestones, Austrian crystals, heavy embroidery, applique. He worked as an apprentice for Nudie back in the day and set up shop many years ago here in Nashville. He and his son Manuel Cuevas, Jr. also have recently started a ready to wear line and have shown last spring and this fall in NYC Bryant Park. He made Elvis outfits, Sgt Pepper Beatle outfits, classic country Opry stars, Dwight Yoakum, Johnny Cash, Riders in the Sky, Marty Stuart, blah, blah, you get the picture. Google Manuel if you want more info......anyway....Not sure if any of Chris' suits are Manuel, but I am sure he has some vintage Nudies and I think Turk...and I think a female designer creates some of his suits in California (maybe someone knows her name)
Lets see how many suits we can post that Chris has. Please post photos of Chris in suits only. Please do not repeat suits already shown. And count them as you post them so we can keep score of how many suits we can find photos of Chris wearing.
Someone find a good photo of the mirrored suit cause I think it should start the thread as the number 1 suit.
Thanks

Hey that's great! But Dwight Yoakam is spelled like this. Not getting on your case, CSS, just that everyone makes that mistake. He probably expects it to be spelled like that now!!!

Cool suites from that dude, Manuel!!

Hmm, sounds likely, but I don't know that much. Just that someone named Gillian designed some of his suits.

Someone should crochet his next suit.
Oh, and we suggested suit designs before on the black board.

So sorry to hear about your dog, Stacey. Petey's been ill and I know how difficult it can be on an owner.

This thread makes me wonder which of Mr. Isaak's suits will be on display at the Smithsonian in the far, far off future! I would choose the "disco ball" suit...I remember seeing that show stopper at the first and only concert I was at this year! I remember feeling the reflection of the mirrors brush across my face, does he do that on purpose...if so, he's
really talented.

Thanks Chris!!!

No, not the Smithsonian...way too stuffy!! They will make their way to a Hard Rock somewhere, just like Prince's purple suit in Vegas!

I'd nominate the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum" as a home for the suits. The Smithsonian is cool, however....they have an amazing shop there with all sorts of recordings and books...Ray Charles' piano is there too.
