I've left this deliberately big, so everybody can see that if you look very carefully you can see lipstick marks on Chris's cheek in the picture of him with the three women.

Apparently this made the news yesterday, lol. Chris was mobbed at the Oaks Day lunch in the Palladium (the same room where the rest of us saw him later that night). Yes, Our Hero was mobbed alright - by a bunch of society matrons. When I said months ago when this luncheon was first announced that Chris should look out for these women (that he may have to fight them off with a jockey's whip, etc.) I only meant that tongue-in-cheek; I never dreamed my words would prove to be so prophetic! lol.

Damn he looks good!!! How funny, aren't they all having a wonderful time? Thank you Cheryl....

All I really noticed was his white suite. I LUV him in white...don't know why...just do.

OMG! He is so sweet and fun! Leave it to Chris to hang around some older women and get some attention! I know he sold a lot of cds do to that!!! Chris, you are never, ever boring sweetie!! Just keep being your cool self!

Oaks Day Lunch - (better without the hat)

Glad you enjoyed that picture, girls. I still think he should have gone with a fascinator though. (He somehow could have organised one with a pompadour running through it!) Anyway, I forgot to mention when I was last in here that there was a funny little mention in the gossip column from Cup Day stuff that apparently when Chris went to the portaloos he was mobbed there too - but by MEN. Apparently a couple of well-known local footballers (not too sure which code...rugby players, I think?? They weren't AFL, I know that much) bailed him up and asked him to pose for photos with them, ha!! Also, there was a teensy mention again of the 'well-groomed moshpit' from the Oaks Lunch again in this morning's paper...just the same thing about how as soon as Chris walked on on the stage, all the well-dressed (not to mention well-heeled!) ladies made a dash for the front of the stage, and how women jumped up on their chairs to get a better look. (I'd hate to think of the damage some of those stilletto heels must have caused in those cushy velvet seats, lol.)
